Broderick Johnson is an American film producer, co-founder, and co-CEO of Alcon Entertainment. He found the company with his friend Andrew Kosove, and together they have financed more than 30 films to date. He made his debut as a producer with Lost & Found (1999). Over the years Johnson has produced movies like My Dog Skip (2000), The Affair of the Necklace (2001), Insomnia (2002), Chasing Liberty (2004), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005), P.S. I Love You (2007), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008), The Blind Side (2009), The Book of Eli (2010), Dolphin Tale (2011), Beautiful Creatures (2013), Prisoners (2013), Transcendence (2014), Dolphin Tale 2 (2014) and Point Break (2015). Johnson also served as an executive producer on the hit TV show, The Expanse (2015-). He was nominated for an Oscar Award for the film The Blind Side. In 2017 Johnson produced Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi movie, Blade Runner 2049. The movie is a sequel to Ridley Scott's 1982 sci-fi masterpiece, Blade Runner. The movie has Ryan Gosling in the lead and Harrison Ford reprising his role of Rick Deckard from the 1982 movie.
