With CIAN's help, CHAN FOOK resumes his position as the Grand Eunuch. In order to save DE-HAI, CIXI condescends herself to plead with CIAN, but to no avail. LIAN-YING intends to arrange DE-HAI to sneak out of the palace, yet DE-HAI merely asks for an arrangement to make an audience with CIXI. While waiting outside, LIAN-YING and the imperial guards suddenly hear that DE-HAI scolds CIXI, who sentences DE-HAI to immediate execution. With TIM-SHAU's arrangement of a forbidden room for him to treat HESHUO, SHEUNG-HEI is determined to get HESHUO out of the coma.
